FAQ

Furu works fully offline, costs $29.99 once with no subscription, and never sends your notes to a server — the rest of the details are below. If your question isn't covered, get in touch.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. Recording, transcription, summarizing, and tagging all run on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence. Airplane mode changes nothing.
Which iPhones are supported?
Furu needs Apple Intelligence: iPhone 15 Pro or newer, running iOS 26.
Is it really a one-time purchase?
Yes. $29.99 once, through the App Store. No subscription, no credit tokens, no pro tier hiding the good parts.
Is “lifetime” really lifetime?
“Lifetime Access” covers Furu's paid features for as long as the app continues to be distributed and supported — not the lifetime of the purchaser. Because your notes are stored on your device, Furu doesn't depend on our servers to keep working. See our Terms of Use for the full detail.
What happens to my notes if I stop using Furu?
They're yours. Export everything as plain text at any time, free. Even if you never bought anything.
Does Furu back up my notes?
Optionally. Enable encrypted iCloud backup in your own Apple account, and disable it any time. You can also export all notes as free plain text whenever you like.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Furu has no accounts and no login, ever. Your identity is your device, and Face ID lock (optional) is the only thing standing between anyone else and your notes.
Does Furu support Android?
No. Furu is iOS-only, built for iPhone 15 Pro or newer running iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence. There's no Android version.
Do you see my notes?
No. Notes never touch our servers. There are no servers to touch. Your data lives on your device and, if you choose, in your own iCloud backup.
Can I get a refund?
Furu is sold through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. EU/UK customers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
